Bulphan in Bloom’ are once again holding a Village Gardens Open Day on Sunday 27th June.
Nine prestigious private gardens in the village of Bulphan will be open to the public from 2pm until 6pm and transport will be provided from Bulphan Church to take visitors on the tour.
Cream teas and refreshments will be on hand and a Jazz band will playing in the church grounds
Last year over 500 people visited these popular and well cultivated gardens in what turned out to be a very popular and successful day.
The cost will be £3.50 for adults, children under 16 free and all the money raised will go towards plants and shrubs in the village, in the hope that we can maintain our ‘Gold Award’ in the Anglia in Bloom Competition, for when the Judges return in July !!
As Gold Winners in Anglia, we have this year been nominated by The Royal Horticultural Society to represent East Anglia and have been entered in the national, ‘Britain in Bloom’ competition and will be judged in August.
We are all very honoured to have been selected in this category and will do our best to represent Essex.
