The Stanford Festival has so much going on that it is hard to know what to edit down. From Elvis on the stage, the opportunity for quiet reflection in St Margaret’s, Hog Roast in the Rising Sun, the variety of shops open and doing brisk business, a huge variety of stalls of interest and education and all this on a beautiful day.
There is something natural and relaxed about the Stanford Festival but it must be recognised that organisers Annie O’Brien, Rev John Guest and the team put in a hard twelve months of work to ensure that the Festival runs like clockwork.
They have made a particular effort to get the businesses on board this year which illustrates how much the Stanford Festival is woven into the fabric of the town.
