When Cllr Diana Hale popped in for a routine check outside Morrisons, two years ago, she was shocked to discover a lump that she was unaware of. In her case she could start treatment before it was too late. The trouble is so many woman do not take the necessary advice and regularly have check ups .
So Diana along with support from Jackie Doyle -Price and many others set up the strawberry teas afternoon at Davey Down. Not so much a fund raiser but an awareness day.
