Stacey Solomon, the 20 year old single mum from Dagenham, Essex has come a long way from her days serving up fish and chips at a local restaurant. She first came into the public eye when she appeared on the first show of X Factor Live Auditions shocking everyone with an angelic rendition of Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World.
“I’m rarely surprised, but I have to be completely honest with you, that performance took me by surprise. I think you are really, really good.” replied Simon Cowell.
Just as surprised was X Factor Judge Cheryl Cole telling Stacey:”I don’t know why I had a pre-conceived idea but I didn’t think it would be that good. Thank you.”
Now Stacey is set to wow the crowd at T-Fest as she headlines the two day festival on July 24th to July 25th in Grays.
