Waterstone’s Lakeside is delighted to announce a rare appearance by footballing legend Peter Storey, to sign copies of his new book ‘True Storey’. Storey spent 12 years at Arsenal football club, chalking up 501 appearances between 1965 and 1977.
He also played for England 19 times between 1971 and 1973. He became notorious as a footballing hard man, including a bitter rivalry with George Best. On leaving the game in 1978, it was his various criminal activities that kept him in the spotlight, and, for a time, in jail! Storey now lives in France, but has decided the time has come to tell all, so don’t miss this exciting and rare opportunity to meet the former Arsenal superstar!
