Police are now in a position to release the name of the woman who died following a multi-vehicle collision on the M25 near South Ockendon yesterday, Friday, October 15.
She was Izabela Derbis, a Polish national who lived in Warren Street, west London.
She was a passenger in a Renault Scenic which was being driven by another woman who is currently in a stable condition in Queens Hospital in Romford.
A 24-year-old man from Basildon arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until October 18.
