Its been another busy day for Former Olympiad and Gold medal winner Jamie Baulch. As part of the superschools project he visited Treetops School in the morning and then Deneholm in the afternoon.
And although most of the kids were not even born when he tore down the back straight in that fabulous 4 X 400 metres race in Athens at the end of the nineties, they listened enthralled as he spoke of passion and willing and committment.
These visits are very much due to Ralph Henderson , Deputy Head of William Edwards , who organises these events and gave children today the benefit of his educational experience and possibly the worst ever joke about a chicken, a woodpecker and Kentucky Fried Chicken
