A student choir from Palmer’s College, Grays, were in fine tune when they performed in front an international audience this week at a conference organised by the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics.
The students beat competition from colleges across the country for the honour of performing at the conference held at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre.
The choir are all in the first year of a BTEC Extended Diploma at Palmer’s College, and sang their rendition of Adiemus.
Sam Sorrell, Curriculum Manager for Dance, said, “Our students were incredibly professional, they sang beautifully and are a real credit to the college.”
Mark Vinall, Principal, added, “I am always impressed by the maturity, professionalism and talent shown by our students, and I am sure the audience were delighted with their performance. This was a great honour, a wonderful experience for all students involved, and I congratulate them on their achievement.”
