A group of students from Hassenbrook School in Stanford-le-Hope sang Christmas carols to entertain the visitors of Lakeside Shopping Centre on Wednesday of this week.
The purpose being to encourage passers-by to donate their cash to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Head of Music at Hassenbrook School Miss Furniss said: ‘We have continued to support the MS charity over the years since an ex-pupil’s family were affected by the condition. It is the most common disabling neurological disease affecting young adults and we feel it is a worthwhile charity for a secondary school to support.
The girls entertained shoppers, brought cheer to the community whilst raising valuable funds at the same time.’
