Waders is a local group, which organises exercise classes in water for people with mobility problems and who can’t use “normal” gyms.
Waders stands for: Water Assisted and Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (Waders)
There are two sessions every week: one in Blackshots on Tuesday evenings from 8 to 9 pm and one in Corringham on Fridays at lunchtime.
They have been making a splash for 15 years and are celebrating this with a party in the Beehive in Grays on Friday, December 17th at 7.00 pm.
Everyone who has ever had anything to do with Waders is welcome and there is a website for anyone who wants more information on what they do.
