THE case against Thurrock-based World of Sofas over unfair trading allegations, has been continued reports the Evening Express in Aberdeen.
World of Sofas, which has a branch at Aberdeen’s Kittybrewster Retail Park, is facing 17 charges under the Consumer Protection Act.
World of Sofa’s Bedford Road store in Aberdeen is alleged to be responsible for offering customers false promotion prices and incorrectly stating when special offers are due to finish.
World of Sofas, whose address was listed in court papers as 15 The Junction, Lakeside Retail Park, Thurrock, Essex, made no plea when the case was called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, and will face the charges again next month.
