Hassenbrook students deliver Christmas parcels for elderly

HEAD Girl Kirby Troy and Head Boy Mitchell Howley from Hassenbrook School in Stanford le Hope together with their deputies visited Tesco Express this week to collect 25 Christmas food parcels. The festive treats will soon be winging their way to elderly local residents nominated by students and staff.

Tesco’s Express in Stanford-le-Hope have helped greatly by putting the parcels together for us and choosing the best Christmas lines on offer in their store to create the seasonal hampers.

“Many thanks to the Manager Neil Levy for all his help and Del White for her hard work preparing the parcels with such a lovely selection of Christmas goodies. Several parcels were also delivered this week to Kynock Court a local residential centre where a group of students from our ‘Glee’ singing club entertained residents with festive carols and songs.’
