WHATEVER your opinion of the X Factor that hasn’t stopped dozens of Thurrock hopefuls joining thousands at the 02 Arena last weekend to audition for the X Factor.
Stanford hopeful Charlotte Dawson went up on Sunday.
On Sunday, Charlotte wrote: ” It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Unfortunately, there is a lot of controversy as to whether its actually fixed or not but even if you dont get that far, its still good to go.
“You meet lots of different types of people. We got there at 6.45am and were waiting until around 11.10 am before they opened the doors. My ID number was 872 out of about 7000, so thankfully we were not actually waiting as long as others!
“It was one hell of a long day but it was definitely worth doing, even if i dont get through to the next round.
Well, Charlotte did get through to the next round which is on April 3rd. Well done! Charlotte will be reporting back then to see what the experience was like and whether she got through to the next round.
However, win or lose, Charlotte is one of the young aspiring artists who has got herslef organised, set up a youtube channel and is regularly gigging around the Essex area. Here is an example of her work which indeed is her own composition.
