T-Chicks hosted Rochford Hundred Rugby Club last Sunday. It was a great game of rugby played by all in the good spirits of the game. T-Chicks started strong with a quick try from Sarah Makovics who caught the ball from the restart and run half the length of the field. The game continued with some strong tackling and determination from Rochford but there was more strong running and good rugby played by the T-Chicks.
Jess Mead made some storming runs, along with Megan Oakey who played her first game after turning 12. New captain Charlotte Wright was tackling everything and making some strong runs b y leading by example. T-Chicks scrummaging was strong and there was a lot of ball turned over by Paris Missons.
There were a few of the new girls making debuts as well in Chelsie, Katie and Amy who were all fantastic. More tries came from Emmi Mcgill, Mollie Hodgins, Jess Mead, Sarah Makovics and a first for Sophie French.
