Police are appealing for information about an allegation of a serious sexual assault in the London Road area of Grays last night (Saturday, March 19) sometime between 11.15 pm and 12.30 am.
A 24-year-old local woman was walking home when she was approached by a man who offered to walk with her. She walked with him along London Road for a while before he sexually assaulted her. He is described as Eastern European, aged between 20 and 30 years, with short dark hair wearing a grey top and jeans.
