THURROCK Council’s out-of-hours noise nuisance line will be back in action from Friday, 1 April until the last weekend in September.
Environmental Health officers are on call every Friday (excluding Friday April 29) and Saturday evenings between 9pm and 3am — and Sunday evenings when followed by a Bank Holiday.
Night time noise nuisance is a form of Anti-social Behaviour. It can cause sleepless nights, distress and affect normal everyday life. Problems often occur at weekends during the summer months and this year, in response to residents’ calls, the noise nuisance line is being re-launched at the start of the Easter holiday weekend.
The number to call is 01375 372468.
Residents who have already reported ongoing problems with noise do not need to report them again, as investigations will be ongoing.
