Police are appealing for witnesses after a 57-year-old woman was robbed near the Daneholes Roundabout, Grays.
At around 12.45am on Saturday, March 19, a suspect approached the victim from behind, pushed her over and snatched her handbag, worth an estimated £20.
Investigating officer, Dc Dean Batson, said: “The woman was thankfully uninjured during this ordeal, but it would have been incredibly frightening for her. We want to speak to anyone that was in the area at the time that may have seen this suspect loitering around.”
The suspect was a white man, aged 21-40-years-old and was wearing a dark grey jacket.
