The FOURTH community question time for senior Thurrock councillors and officers is to be on Thursday.
The first three were held in Stanford-le-Hope, South Ockendon and Tilbury, and the next one will be in Little Thurrock — although anyone with an interest is welcome to attend.
The meeting will be on Thursday, 16 June starting at 7pm sharp at the Little Thurrock Primary School in Rectory Road, Grays, RM17 5SW.
The panel at the meeting will consist of the Leader of the Council, Cllr John Kent, cabinet members along with the council’s Chief Executive and senior directors.
Cllr Kent said: “When we started these Thurrock’s Future — Let’s Talk meetings in the community the aim was to move away from everything happening in Grays.
“This time, I think we still manage to get out into the community, but make things convenient for those living in Grays. That is not to say that people from other parts of the borough aren’t welcome, the are of course.”
People can come along on the night and ask questions or questions can be sent in to the council by post or email.
Anyone wanting to ask a question in advance can email them via www.thurrock.gov.uk/democracy/cabinet, write to Let’s Talk, Communications Department, Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM27 6SL or call 01375 652476 by 9 June if possible.
