THURROCK’S District Police Commander, Chief Inspector Paul Moor has moved on from his post. Paul returns to Chelmsford HQ, back to his area of specialism, ANPR.
Supt Ivor Harvey said: “Chief Insp Paul Moor has moved on from his post as district commander for Thurrock after being selected to lead a specialist team at Essex Police HQ, which will utilise his ANPR knowledge and background, which will help Essex improve its use of technology on the road.
“Acting Chief Insp Richard Baxter has stepped up as acting district commander for the foreseeable future, and having worked previously acting up in the role, he brings with him a wealth of experience and Thurrock knowledge. He has also served for the last two years as neighbourhood inspector for the South Ockendon, South West Thurrock and Aveley area, so he has a good grasp of local needs and concerns.
“Chief Insp Moor served Thurrock for nearly three years, and in that time he has continued to reduce crime in Thurrock. He will be missed by officers and colleagues in Thurrock, and we wish him well in his new post.”
YourThurrock would personally like to thank the Chief Insp for always being on hand for a comment or interview with us. For being honest and robust in answering difficult and challenging questions in difficult and challenging times.
This isn’t the X Factor but this is one of your best bits, when the Essex Air Ambulance landed in the middle of T-Fest!
