Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on the A13 London bound, near the M25 junction involving two cars, five people were injured and taken to Queens Hospital Romford. The crash happened around 7.45pm (June 25).
The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene before police arrival and police officers, the force helicopter and police dogs were all called in to search for him. He is still outstanding but police investigations are continuing to locate him.
The cars were all travelling in the same direction along the A13 when the collision occured and police want to speak to any witnesses who have not already contacted them.
The driver of a black Vauxhall Corsa, a 36 year old man from East London, a woman aged 28 and a 13 year old girl were all taken to Queens Hospital Romford with back, neck and leg pains, and were treated and released. The passengers in a grey Vauxhall Vectra, a 23 year old man from Rainham and 19 year old woman from Dartford, Kent were also taken to hospital with injures and the woman has a suspected broken collarbone and dislocated shoulder, another woman aged 29 was not injured.
