DID you know that Thurrock is not getting its fair share of arts lottery funding because local people are not applying for it!
On Thursday, 21 July, Arts Council England is delivering free seminars on Grants for the Arts to support you to learn more about the scheme and how you can access funding for your arts activities.
Grants for the Arts is National Lottery funding that supports arts activities carried out over a set period and which engage people in England in arts activities. It also helps artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work.
The seminar will give an introduction to the scheme, information about how the Arts Council assesses applications and some top tips.
The free sessions, which are part of the Thurrock International Celebration of Culture, will be presented by Hannah Fouracre, Relationship Manager, at Arts Council England’s Cambridge office.
