Festival for Karis May draws audience of thousands

AS THE film said: “If you build it, they will come.” And they certainly did. Thousands flocked to the fields of Gable Hall school in Corringham to attend the six hour festival for Karis May Darling who tragically died in April.

Former England captain, Paul Ince and star of The Only Way is Essex, Harry Derbridge attended as over sixty acts performed in the bright summer sunshine.

As well as the main stage, there was a host of other activities. The whole day was incredibly well organised and pays testimony to John and Kerry Darling as well as their support team.

YT caught up with Kerry to get her reflections on the day and to let Kerry thank the whole community for their help.
