FORMER Thurrock Harrier Jessica Judd showed her world class potential after winning a bronze medal at the World Youth Championships in France.
The 16-year-old former Grays Convent athlete came third in the 800 metres clocking a time of 2m 3.43. America’s Ajee Wilson won in a time of 2m 2.64s.
The day before, Hassenbrook’s Hayley McLean did well to finish sixth in the 400 metres hurdles final.
Hayley was carrying an injury throughout the championships and felt it during the race which was won by America’s Nnenya Hailey.
