POLICE in Grays are investigating a theft that took place at an estate agents in Orsett Road, Grays at 12.30pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2011.
Two couples, possibly of Eastern European origin, were in the estate agents and distracted a woman member of staff and stole her purse from her handbag. The black leather purse contained around £300 in cash, credit cards and a driving licence.
It is thought that the people responsible may have tried to commit similar offences in the area about the same time.
