Daily Mail offices a step closer at former Power Station site

THE GREEN light was given for the printing presses at the Daily Mail to start rolling in Thurrock at the meeting of the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation planning committee this afternoon (Monday).

The 50 acre site will sit on part of the old West Thurrock Power Station on Oliver Road, West Thurrock.

Speaking on behalf of the applicant, Jason Harris said: “This has been a six year journey to bring employment and regeneration into Thurrock.

“We have also made plans to respect and preserve the eco-system in the area.”

It is anticipated that the site will bring over 80 jobs.
