THE CAR PARKS WERE absolutely full. The guided tours had huge tails of prospective parents and students winding their way along the William Edwards corridors.
In the modest words of headteacher, Steve Munday, the “Outstanding” Ofsted “Doesn’t hurt” when it comes to attracting pupils.
The school was absolutely crammed with activity. You could see that parents were doing a number of laps in order to get a real feel for the place.
It also amazes us at YT that each school produces a unique sense of place at their open evenings.
YT ushered headteacher Steve Munday to a quiet place for an interview to reflect upon the evening and how the school will cope with the demand.
