Thurrock Writers Circle members enjoyed the weekend on a humourous writing course at Belstead House in Ipswich; the tutor Tony Kirwood had everyone working hard to develop their writing and learning skills and how to project their talent into getting published.
Tony has written scripts for both films and TV and also had an acting part in the Harry Potter films plus writing articles and stories in various newspapers and magazines.
Our membership is increasing and the variation in writing is excellent entertainment,
We have had several speakers recently that have given give a wealth of ideas to the group. Members work was read out and comments given. After the refreshment break a workshop was held and words were given for a short writing exercise.
