POLICE in Grays are appealing for anyone who has been offered Goodyear tyres in unusual circumstances to contact them.
Around 4am on October 20, thieves broke into the trailer of a lorry on the A1089/A13 junction in a lay-by and stole the tyres, worth about £18,000.
Anyone who saw this incident or has any information is asked to contact Pc Dan Mildinhall at Grays police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
