Rough time for residents over noise from Corringham kennels

THE NOISE from dog kennels in Corringham had been so bad that it has turned the lives of local residents “upside down”.

The claim came from local residents at a meeting of Thurrock Council’s planning committee as a proposal was submitted for the demolition of three outbuildings used as dog kennels and the erection of a replacement kennel buildings.

The application has been made by Mrs Jacqulynn Houseden of Kynite Kennels.

Residents claimed that since April the noise at the kennels had increased considerably and had caused them to contact environmental officers at the council.

The committee agreed to defer the item and visit the site on Fobbing Road, Corringham.
