Pensioner robbed in Grays High Street

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 60s had her handbag stolen in Grays High Street.

At 12.10pm on Monday, November 7, two suspects grabbed the victim’s leopard print handbag outside Barclays Bank, worth £10. A mobile phone, worth £20 and £50 cash were inside.

One of the suspects wore a grey hoody with the hood up, the other wore a dark hoody with the hood up. Both are believed to be men.

  1. Although a very loose description, nonetheless the use of the word men is more spurious. In a bygone era the word men would not have been used to describe these little treasures. God bless the Labour party and the PC brigade for their contribution to society, it’s wonderfully enriching.

  2. Again this goes to prove my point about Grays centre. A horrible place now.
    And TC want to build the new college there!
