ngage are working in partnership with the BBC Switchover Help Scheme to try and increase awareness of the digital switchover that is happening in April 2012.
Caroline Smith, Citizenship Development Worker for ngage said “we are promoting the Help Scheme across Thurrock to try to reach older and disabled residents to let them know they may be eligible for help from the Help Scheme. Many people will find it simple to switch and lots of people already have. But for those who need a little extra help, we want them to know that they will get the additional support they need from the Switchover Help Scheme”.
