Re-send to council request after system crashes

THURROCK Council suffered a major breakdown on one of its email servers last week.

Although the server has now been repaired, the council is concerned that some messages may not have got through.

“The server was down for several days and we have now acknowledged every email we know was sent to us during that time,” said Cllr Phil Smith, the portfolio holder for central services.

He added: “We think we have not lost any messages, but if anyone did try to contact the council and have not received a reply from us, please try again.”
