A HUGE plume of smoke hung over Tilbury yesterday (Tuesday) after arsonists set alight to a large pile of tyres.
The incident happened at just after midday in Leicester Road, Tilbury.
Firefighters using two hose reel jets and foam extinguished the fire by 12:50hrs.
