POLICE have released CCTV of a man they wish to speak to in connection with two arsons in Grays.
At around 4am to 4.30am on January 24, a Ford Fiesta was set alight in Defoe Parade, Chadwell St Mary, causing £400 damage. Then shortly after that in Tasker Road, a Toyota Starlet car had its window smashed with a concrete slab and the vehicle was then set alight. The fire spread to a garage and then to a fence and gate, causing £2,450 worth of damage.

Investigating officer, Pc Jennifer McLean, said: “This man was seen on CCTV near the scene at the time, so we want to speak to him as part of our investigation. Whoever is responsible for these arsons should be made to face up to their actions, which has cost several people a lot of money, and it is lucky that no-one was injured.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Jennifer McLean at the Grays area investigation team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Hopefully when they find this person they take all of their belongings and put them in a big pile and make them set light to it all before banging them up, these people need to be taught respect for other peoples property and should have all their goods taken and destroyed like they do to others.
I suspect this is a family feud.
There’s always two sides to a story.
