Ryman Premier
Kingstonian 2 v 0 Aveley
Aveley 0 v 6 Billiericay
AVELEY bosses have told their new manager, Justin Gardner, that they did not have too high expectations this season and it is just as well as they crashed to two defeats in 48 hours.
They lost by two goals from Bobby Traynor on Saturday and then last night (Monday) they were humbled 6-0 in a masterclass by run-away leaders Billericay.
The Millermen held out for over 40 minutes before Ajibola Olatunbosun’s foul on Jay May allowed Glenn Poole to open the scoring from the spot.
Billericay made it 2-0 just after before the break with a goal from May and another from Chris Wild just after the break.
Three further goals arrived in the last 12 minutes with May netting twice to complete his hat-trick before Poole fired his second.
