A COUPLE were trapped following a road traffic collision on Purfleet Road in Aveley
The collision occurred at 8pm on Friday night.
Firefighters worked to release two people medically trapped following a two vehicle collision.
Firefighters used specialist hydraulic cutting equipment to release them.
Firefighters had released both casualties by 21:01hrs using two sets of cutting equipment.
They also made the scene safe.
