Asian association set to celebrate diamond jubilee

THURROCK ASIAN ASSOCIATION is celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with great pomp and ceremony on Sunday 3rd June, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at the Beehive Resource Centre, West Street, Grays and on Monday 4th June, 2012 at the T.A.A Resource Centre, 35 Clarence Road, Grays from 4 to 6 pm.

At the Beehive Resource Centre, the residents will be entertained by Thurrock Spectrum Brass with their singing the National Anthem, the famous music tunes from the 1950’s and 60’s; singing and dancing by a famous Asian Group from ILFORD; songs by the Thurrock Asian Adult Music Group; dancing by the Thurrock Asian Bollywood Dancing Class.

It will be followed up by the CAKE CUTTING by the Mayor and the Mayoress of Thurrock.

Refreshments will be served free of cost.

At the T.A.A Asian Resource Centre on 4th June, 2012 there will be dancing and music with audience participation;

DVD showing the Queen’s Buckingham Palace and refreshments prepared by various communities living in Thurrrock.

These are free events for local people supported by the Thurrock Council through the Thurrock CVS.
