EAST THURROCK UNITED were awarded the Ryman Premier “Team of the Season” award at the Ryman League awards evening in Brighton at the weekend.
The Corringham-based side had a great season, getting to the first round of the FA Cup where over a thousand fans in front of the ITV cameras had a great game against league two Macclesfield. They reached the final of the Ryman Cup; the last sixteen of the FA Trophy as well as reaching their highest ever league position in the premier.
