A LARGE number of police cars, the police helicopter at low level as well as officers on foot and a dog unit searched for hours in vain for a suspect on Saturday night in South Ockendon.
The search centred on the Orchard Road area of South Ockendon around 8pm.
Essex Police would only confirm that a search for a suspect took place but for operational reasons would not divulge any further information.
