ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses and any other information from members of the public about incidents resulting in serious injuries on Friday June 15 into Saturday June 16 2012.

Two men have been treated in hospital for slash wounds to the face and chest, possibly caused by a knife.

One local man aged 27 has had more than seventy stitches. An 18 year old man had a minor cut to his face.

Police have been told there may be a third man who was injured in this way, and would like to talk to him.

The incidents seem to be linked to people who were drinking at the Inn On The Green at Stanford-Le-Hope at around 1am.

One 20 year old local man has been arrested in connection with these incidents, but police need more information from witnesses or other people who may have information about what happened.

Anyone with any information is asked, please, to contact Dc Jay Leeson or his colleagues at Grays Serious Crime Team, Essex Police on 101.
