Horndon Feast, Fayre and Foodbank!

THE charming village of Horndon on the Hill will embrace its prestigious heritage this weekend in the form of the Horndon Feast and Fayre 10k Race and Raffle.

With a variety of entertainment packed into the weekend, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. Not forgetting the gruelling but enjoyable 10k run which will be the focal point on Sunday.

This year the Horndon Feast and Fayre 10k Race and Raffle, has been collaboratively hosted by the newly inaugurated Rotary Club of Thurrock Gateway and the Thurrock Food Bank, who are a charity that provides emergency food for local people in crisis. The brilliant partnership between the two has been tremendous, and as a result this is set to be the best Feast and Fayre yet.

The Horndon Feast and Fayre will be held on Saturday 23rd June – Sunday 24th June at Horndon on the Hill and visitors are welcome to visit and indulge in the entertainment throughout both days. The new Rotary Club meets at the Park Inn, North Stifford on Monday’s at 7 pm.
