Aveley long jumper, Joshua Olawore finished a creditable fifth in the under-20 men’s long jump at the World Junior championship trials in Bedford.
Josh jumped 7.11 in the final. He was the youngest in the competition.
Grays sprinter Emmanuel Stephens was just outside the medals in the under-20 men’s 100m, clocking 10.62s.
