FIREFIGHTERS cut a woman from the wreckage of her car after a road traffic collision at the Orsett Cock roundabout.
The collision happened at 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
The incident involved two cars. Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release a woman, in her sixties, from one of the vehicles.
A second casualty was not trapped and was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
The casualty was freed by 17:12 hrs and left in the care of the ambulance Service.
