A LOTTERY ticket holder from Thurrock could be sitting on a million!
The unclaimed ticket was won on the opening night of the Olympic Games.
93 winners have claimed their money but not the person from Thurrock.
The ticket is worth £1 million and the ticketholders have until 11pm on January 23 to make their claim.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We urge every player to check their tickets as they could be one of our missing millionaires. The clock is now ticking for these ticketholders and we want to be presenting them with their giant cheque so they can start enjoying their win as soon as possible.
“Check down the back of the sofa or in your coat pockets – the ticket could be lurking anywhere. This draw has already broken a world record and we hope to push it as high as possible.”
Players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the prize money plus all the interest it has generated will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £28 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since the National Lottery launched in November 1994.
