IT SEEMS FITTING that as we started with a Thurrock dancer at the opening ceremony of the Olympics, so we finish with another dancer set to be part of the closing ceremony.
Grays dancer, Vicky Lardner has been in rehearsals since April for what is expected to be another glittering occasion in the Olympic stadium on Sunday.
Vicky said: “Rehearsals have been very exciting. I cannot say too much but we will be dancing with Darcy Bussell.”
Vicky is the principal of Martell School of Dance which has been running since 2002 and rehearses at William Edwards school as well as Deneholm primary.
