HIGH House Production Park, Purfleet, will play host to the third in a series of business breakfast events being organised by Thurrock Council with the Essex Federation of Small Businesses.

The event, on Tuesday, 11 September, will be offering businesses advice and information on a range of topics to create the overall aim of ‘Supporting Local Business’.

The Leader of Thurrock Council, Cllr John Kent said: “The success of the previous two events clearly demonstrates there is a desire amongst the business community to engage with the council and hear about the support that is available to them locally. I would urge businesses not to miss this opportunity to hear from local partners about the support that’s on offer.”

Confirmed speakers for this event include:

* Cllr John Kent, Leader Thurrock Council – Opening Speech

* Helen Bonner, Principal Consultant SDG – Work Place Travel Planning

* Pauline Nischel, Relationship Manager Job Centre Plus – Government initiatives and how JCP can offer a free service to support employers to take on the right person for their vacancies

* Nik Fowden, South East Mobility – sharing experiences in trying to find procurement opportunities

* Leigh Ashton, Founder of The Sales Consultancy – Using motivational techniques to help your business succeed

* Graham Clarke, Bizphit – Contracts Finder – finding public sector contracts
