Aveley shook off the home defeat by Tilbury to produce a sparkling display against Redbridge.
Many observers said it could have been ten as the Millermen came out of the blocks in the second half to wrap up the game.
A double strike by Shane Oakley as well as goals by Lee Sontag and Junior Dadson ensured that Aveley moved to fifth in the league and just two points behind league leaders Waltham Abbey.
