IT IS A year ago since beloved former Conservative councillor, Daphne Hart passed away but her memory and her legacy shines stronger than ever.
Daphne’s legacy stands in the shape of the Holiday Homes for the Handicapped.
The shop is still there up on Chadwell St Mary. Former mayor, Ian Harrison is working at the other end up in Norfolk.
Their annual sale and fun day takes place at the side of St Johns church in Chadwell on September 22nd.
