HUNDREDS of birdwatchers have descended on the RSPB site in Purfleet after a rare sighting of a Ballion’s Crake.
The small waterbird is according to twitchers a rare sight in the UK.
Funnily enough, twitchers from all over the UK have been on twitter to spread the word.
YT was contacted by their resident ornithologist, David Darrell-Lambert who is set to go down to the site and record the event.
