A FORMER Grays fire officer and his team cycled 240 miles to Devon in aid of his stricken nephew.
Graham Richardson was joined by Mark Richardson, Richard Amery and support driver Brian Holland. They left Stifford Clays in Grays on Sunday and covered the 240 miles in just three days, arriving in Exmouth.
Graham said: “My nephew Matt Smith has been struck down by cancer. The treatment and all that is associated with it is expensive so we did what we could.
“We have raised over £1000 so far.”
